Please read this once. Netruve is for reflection and entertainment. Its readings are interpretations drawn from traditions that people have used for centuries, not facts about your future and not advice. It will not tell you when you will die or whether you will fall ill, in any tradition, and it should never replace a doctor, a lawyer, a financial adviser or a counsellor.

What a reading is

A reading puts the date, time and place you give next to the positions of the Sun, Moon and planets, and describes what classical texts say about that arrangement, in plain words. The positions are calculated with published astronomy. The meanings come from the traditions themselves (Western and Hellenistic astrology, Vedic astrology, Chinese BaZi, tarot, the I Ching, numerology, palmistry and tea-leaf reading). Those traditions do not agree with one another, and they do not claim to be science.

What it is not

  • Not medical or mental-health advice. Netruve does not diagnose, treat or predict health. Do not delay or skip care because of a reading.
  • Not legal, financial or investment advice. Do not buy, sell, sign or commit because a reading was favourable, or avoid something because it was not.
  • Not a promise. We do not guarantee that any reading will be accurate, complete, or come true, and we are not responsible for decisions made because of one.
  • Not a replacement for people. Important choices about your relationships, work and wellbeing deserve conversation with people who know you.

Things the app leaves out on purpose

Netruve does not compute or show longevity or the timing of death, and it hides the traditional tea-leaf and tarot meanings that speak of death, illness or harm. Some initiatory traditions (such as Ifá and Diloggún) are not offered, because they belong with initiated practitioners and not with an algorithm.

Distress and safety

If a question suggests you may be in distress or in danger, the app stops and shows a helpline instead of a reading. If you are thinking of harming yourself, or someone else is in danger, please contact local emergency services or a helpline now. See Safety and resources.

Accuracy of the calculations

Planet positions come from an open astronomy library and are checked against independent references. Time zones and historical clock changes are applied as the database lists them, and a birth place that is not in the app's city list can be entered by coordinates. If your birth time is uncertain, the houses and the Rising sign may be wrong or left out, and the app says so.
